  • 6 double dark-slides (1 - 12). The first 3 slides carry the serial number of the camera, the other 3 have the number 8452.
  • Septum, pleated fabric with wooden supports at each end. Holes in the supports for elastic cord.
  • Lens caps. Thornton-Pickard time shutter. Tripod.

Although signed by Hurman the camera is most probably made by Watson & Son. The lens separation is variable controlled by a double rack and single pinion. There are holes front and back in the septum where it clips to the camera, these were so an elastic cord could be stretched along the length of the septum to keep it upright. The Platystigmat lens was introduced in 1896, it is distinctive for having click stops on the iris. The slides have T.P. Watson's patented improvements; these are, stops to prevent the shutter of the dark-slide from being drawn fully out and spring catches so the shutter will indicate whether an exposure has been made.
