c.f22, 6" landscape with Marion name. Fixed aperture. Possibly by Darlot.

Construction:
Mahogany body, mitred corner joints with veneer inserts. Paper bellows.

Format:
6 ½" x 4 ¾" plates held in double dark-slides.

Focusing:
Single extension, rear standard slides for focusing and lens slides in mount for fine adjustment.

Movements:
Tilting back.

With:
1 double dark-slide.

A very simple field camera fitted with a wide-angle lens especially suited to views and landscapes. This example has paper bellows, an advertisement of 1885 shows leather bellows. The lens, which is probably French, carries the Marion name and has the characteristic yellow lacquer used by Marion.
