Lens:
f6.3, 12 cm Zeiss Tessar, iris diaphragm to f45. Serial no. 175194 (c.1912).

Shutter:
Spring powered rotary sector type with pneumatic regulation. Speeds 1/2 - 1/100, T. The T setting is achieved by a short depress when set to 1/2.

Construction:
Leather covered metal body with leather bellows.

Format:
2 5/16" x 3 11/16" exposures on 120 roll-film.

Focusing:
Bellows, scale to 2 yards.

Attributes:
Reflecting view-finder with spirit levels.
Film advance indicated by red window not coupled to shutter.

Movements:
Rising front.

Serial Number:
RF182 .

Notes:
Address on camera: Newman & Guardia. 17 & 18 Rathbone Place. Oxford St. W. (1909 - 1929).

This model of the Sibyl was replaced by the New Special Sibyl in 1913.

A note with the camera says it was purchased by a Belgian army officer in London in 1917, it remained with that family until 2000.
