Construction:
Wood body covered in leatherette, leather bellows.

Format:
2 exposures on 6 ¾" x 3 ¼" plates held in slides.

Focusing:
Bellows, scale to 5 feet. Single extension.

Attributes:
Brilliant view-finder.

Movements:
Rising front.

Notes:
Retailer: T. Mason, Dublin.

The Stereo-Cameo was made in three models:

  • Model 0 - Single extension, leatherette covered, achromat lens, T,B,I shutter.
  • Model 1 - As for model 0 but fitted with an Aldis Uno lens.
  • Model 2 - Double extension, leather covered, U-shaped front standard, speeded Automatic or Compound shutter. Choice of lenses when fitted with a Compound shutter including Tessars and Dagors.
Early versions had red bellows and a brass shutter housing a couple of years later the camera had an overall black appearance.
