Construction:
Leather covered metal body.

Format:
36, 24 x 36 mm exposures on 35 mm film held in cassette.

Focusing:
Helical to 2 feet.

Attributes:
Reflex through taking lens. Pentaprism, split-image rangefinder and ground glass focusing screen. Exposure counter.
Auto-stop on film-advance. Film-advance tensions the shutter and lowers mirror.

Number on camera back: 471561. The box with the Spezialzwischenring shows this fits the Praktica FX2, FX3, Contax F, FB, FBM and Pentacon cameras.

With:

  • f2.8, 100 mm Meyer Trioplan. Manual iris diaphragm to f22. Focus to 3.6', Depth of field scale. Serial no. 2735778.
  • Extension tubes marked KW. Black crackle finish with bright knurling. Lengths: 35, 18, 6 mm.
  • Spezialzwischenring marked KW. Consists: 14 mm extension tube with cable release socket and diaphragm activator. Aluminium finish. Double cable release. In box.

The F introduced semi-automatic diaphragm operation to the Contax/Pentacon range. Models having a split image finder are usually designated FM.

The Spezialzwischenring provides semi-automatic diaphragm operation with close-up equipment. With three extension tubes and cable release tube in place the field of view is c.21 mm in width.
