Format:
36, 24 x 36 mm exposures on 35 mm film held in cassette.

Auto-stop on film advance coupled to shutter. Film advance tensions shutter.
Exposure counter.

With:

  • Body cap.
  • Microscope attachment. Comprises: Prontor-Press shutter, speeds 1 - 1/125, B, T, with flash synchronisation; Focusing telescope and beam splitter; 1/3x tube to attach camera to shutter.

The MD was a simplified model without rangefinder or view-finder, it was intended for use with a microscope or other scientific uses. It was replaced by the MDa in 1966.
