The Eka came out around the time of the Leica in 1925. It uses un-perforated 35 mm film and so takes larger images than the Leica. A measuring wheel locks when the film has been sufficiently advanced, to un-lock the wheel a small catch is moved, which also advances the frame counter.

A metal block pulls out from the base of the camera providing a tripod socket for vertical or horizontal exposures. Some (? early) versions have a bright metal lens panel.
