Helical, scale to 3.5 feet.

Attributes:
Direct-vision (lens/lens) view-finder.
Auto-stop on film-advance. Film-advance tensions shutter. Exposure counter.

Serial Number:
8507 (1928) .

Notes:
This is an unusual conversion by Leitz as the original shutter release button remains. The film-advance and re-wind knobs are replaced as is the accessory shoe, speed dial and base plate.

Code Names:
WEISU - view finder.

The Standard was an entry level model that could be upgraded to a higher specification. It also had uses in copying and scientific areas where a rangefinder was not required. The extending re-wind knob was used to standardise parts with the model 11.
