Box of 5" x 4" plates. Speed: 175 H&D. Yellow label.

General purpose landscape plate having a speed of 150 - 175 H&D.

Process

Box of 6 ½" x 4 ¾" plates. Early red label.

The Process plate gave strong contrast. When introduced the plate had a speed of 10 - 15 H&D, later (mid 1910s) increased to 20 - 25 H&D.

Eclipse Ortho Soft

Orthochromatic.
Box of 6 ½" x 4 ¾" plates. Speed: 850 H&D.

Eclipse Ortho Soft appeared around 1922 with a speed of 650 H&D. From 1928 the plate was also available with a speed of 850 H&D.

Imperial Gaslight Paper

Packet of 12, 4" x 5" papers. Rough.

This was available in rough and smooth finishes and later matt, semi-matt and glossy. Around 1923 Vigorous and Soft grades were introduced, previously only a single grade had been available. Rough finish ceased around 1920.
