This was a popular post-war meter. The needle moves over a scale, the value given is transferred to the calculator and the shutter speed / aperture pairs can be read. The 1956 model incorporated a simple colour temperature meter. Five orange squares labelled 2600 - 10,000K and a comparison strip vary in apparent colour as the light changes the square most closely matching the comparison strip gives a a rough idea of the colour temperature.
