A very popular high-quality shutter, it was superseded in the smaller sizes by the Compur. The 1904 model was not sold in Britain to much extent. The shutter has a finger release and either a cable release socket or pneumatic release connection. A setting lever is on the right of the shutter. Below the lens is a setting for I, B, T. On aluminium models the I B T position varies. Later it is in a curved horizontal slot marked M B T.

Variations

  • Early Model. 1904. Aluminium body.
  • 11 o'clock release. 1909. Black painted finish. Horizontal M, B, T setting. Flat speed dial. Pneumatic or cable release socket.
  • As above but raised speed dial. Cable release socket only.
  • 7 O'clock release. c. 1911.
