Although called stereoscopic the lens was available for mono use in several focal lengths. This example is probably a no. 1.

Iris diaphragm marked 30 - 150 Dallmeyer scale (f17 - f36). 7" back focus. Aluminium mount.

Serial Number:
11055 (c.1866) .

This is a Wide-angle Landscape lens from the mid 1860s that has been remounted into an aluminium barrel and provided with an iris diaphragm. The tube is engraved 'Patent 1'.
