Although this camera was on sale for over 10 years it could not have proved popular as few are seen today. It was brought out just before WW1 and billed as the press camera of the future. It folded into a small space and was quick to erect. In form it is virtually an Ensign Folding Reflex model D with the hood and the mirror/screen removed. Two sizes were listed 9 x 12 cm and quarter-plate. Several lenses were listed as available prior to the war. The price in 1914 was £13.15.0. Earlier models possibly had a lowest shutter speed of 1/10 rather than 1/15.
