4" x 5" plates held in double dark-slides.

Direct vision frame finder.

The Soho Press was manufactured by Kershaw, it was very well-made, comparable in finish to the Soho Reflex. It was not advertised to much extent and could not have sold well as they are not often seen today. The review in the 1933 British Journal Almanac states that the shutter has different tension settings, on this example the tension is fixed. Other examples have a knob (as on later Soho Reflex cameras) rather than a lever to switch between T and I shutter settings and have a slightly different rear sight. Oddly there is no name on the camera other than on the lens and there is no serial number.
