Shutter:
Exposure effected by sweep of the lens across film. The speed of the lens sweep is controlled by a spring, 2 speed settings.

Construction:
Morocco leather covered wood body.

Format:
6, 2 ¼" x 7" exposures on 105 roll-film.

Focusing:
Fixed.

Attributes:
112 degree angle of view.
Brilliant view-finder showing centre of field to determine the extent of foreground and sky. 'V' sight lines to show angle of view.
Film-advance indicated by red window, not coupled to shutter.

The No 1 was introduced in 1900 and went through a number of models before being discontinued in 1926.
