The finder is aimed at the scene, it shows an inverted blue image. Around this is a series of numbers. The number matching the 'just visible shadow detail' is set on the outside of the tube. The shutter speed / aperture pairs can then be read. The price was £1.16.0. A Leica version was also produced.
